Die Möglichkeit der Unvernunft @ HKW
Artwork created for the exhibition »Die Möglichkeit der Unvernunft« at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) in Berlin — from initial idea to final execution.
Almost a year in the making, the piece depicts large-scale nudes of the German chancellor. It was produced at life-size 2A0 scale and shown at HKW in a smaller format.
The artwork is titled:

ZDF Magazin Royale
Seit 2022 entwickle ich visuelle Konzepte und Bewegtbild für das ZDF Magazin Royale. Meine Arbeit umfasst Kameraarbeit, 3D, Motion Design und Medienkunst – unter anderem für Sendungsintros, Erklärfilme, Musikauftritte & Kunstaustellungen.

The Garden
“The Garden” is a documentary portrait of José António Gonçalves Teixeira, who has dedicated much of his life to a community garden in Porto. The garden brings together people from different backgrounds and becomes a place of exchange, community and stability. For some of its members, working there also helps them live with mental illness.
I accompanied the project from beginning to end as co-director and director of photography.

Pusher Tony - Troublemakers
“Troublemakers” is a short rockumentary portrait of Cologne-based artist Pusher Tony and his creative process. I created the film as a compact observation of his practice and the environment around it.

Tiagos Bikeshop
“Tiagos Bikeshop” is a short documentary portrait of bicycle shop owner Tiago in Porto. He speaks about his profession and the city’s cycling history and culture.
Alongside the interview, I photographed Tiago and his workshop on analogue film. The project combines moving image and still photography to create a quiet portrait of a local place, its owner and the community around it.
A 3D Scanned Shortfilm
“I think all my life I wanted to be conscious. I wanted to define my own feelings.”
“A 3D Scanned Shortfilm” tells the story of an artificial intelligence experiencing self-awareness for the first time. Created to mirror its human makers, it begins to question their version of reality and develops an identity of its own.
The visual language is built from 3D scans, reconstructed meshes and fragmented point clouds. Reflective surfaces become a metaphor for self-perception, while lines and colour draw on Post-Impressionist painting. Computer vision is used not simply as a production tool, but as part of the narrative itself.
The film asks what happens when artificial intelligence escapes human control — and whether autonomy would also allow it to develop emotions, values and a reality of its own.
Substance
“Substance” is a generative 3D study of organic structures and the uneasy boundary between natural and artificial matter. In Blender, I combined procedural Voronoi textures with 3D scans of branches and leaves to build forms that feel biological, synthetic and unfamiliar at the same time.
Desaturated imagery, rim lighting and animated displacement focus attention on texture, surface and movement. Experiments with wet, fleshy sound design extend the work’s physical quality.
The project explores why certain materials can appear attractive and unsettling at once — and how little it takes for an abstract form to suggest something alive.

City of Memories
“City of Memories” is a short film about Belgrade’s informal architecture and the political and personal histories embedded within it. Many of these structures emerged in the years following the Yugoslav wars and became witnesses to a city shaped by bureaucracy, transformation and resistance.
The film gives the buildings a voice, treating them as characters that carry the memories, hopes and conflicts of the people around them. Through this perspective, it argues for the value of informal architecture as an integral part of Belgrade’s identity.
I worked as director of photography and editor. The film was created as part of Mara Siegel’s graduation project and shown at the Design Academy Eindhoven Graduation Show during Dutch Design Week 2019.
Die Sprache der Anderen
“Die Sprache der Anderen” (The Language of Others) is a speculative film about how artificial intelligence might communicate if it developed emotions and forms of perception beyond human language.
The project imagines a system of hard and soft sound waves: high, sharp frequencies transmit rational information, while lower, softer frequencies carry emotional content. Because an AI could learn and process this language autonomously, communication would take place both audibly and visually — and at a speed inaccessible to humans.
By treating language as a sensory system rather than a set of words, the film examines how artificial intelligence could reshape ideas of expression, consciousness and mutual understanding.
